The Foundation Mat

The Foundation Mat is built for the specific rigors of the hot room: 105 degrees, 40% humidity, and the high-intensity repetition of a daily practice. Every specification exists to meet the physical demands of hot yoga and hot Pilates.

Our closed-cell PER (Polymer Environmental Resin) construction creates a completely non-porous surface. This seals the mat against sweat and moisture, ensuring that nothing is absorbed into the mat body. It remains hygienic, wipes clean instantly, and maintains its structural integrity through years of heat exposure.

At 5mm, the mat provides high-density support for the joints without sacrificing the "firm-ground" feel essential for balancing postures. It offers a stable, unmoving foundation that won't stretch or shift during a 90-minute series. When paired with The Towel Set, the surface creates a sweat-activated lock—providing a precise, reliable grip from the first posture to the final Savasana.

The DRYP standard begins with the material itself. We use Polymer Environmental Resin (PER), a high-performance, non-toxic alternative to standard PVC. By selecting a cleaner-formulation resin, we ensure the mat is entirely free from phthalates, latex, and heavy metals—producing zero toxic emissions during the manufacturing process.
